Athletes in Action Fiji is a team of staff and volunteers passionate about connecting athletes to God.
We believe sport is a powerful platform to develop character, share hope, and build community. We also believe that sport can also be used as a platform to reach a significant part of the world with the message of Christ.
Our team serves athletes, coaches, and sports leaders across Fiji through training camps (The Ultimate Training Camp), mentorship, and outreach — equipping athletes to compete with purpose and multiply their faith through their sport.
The Ultimate Training Camp is a high-level sporting camp that aims to help athletes see the connection between faith and sport.
At UTC, athletes will learn 5 biblical principles that they can apply both to their sport and their lives. Principles that will help them see God’s purpose for sport, their place in it, and how they can begin to experience freedom in competition.
We host this camp every summer and our hope is that God meets athletes in a special way, giving them a vision for what life on a mission, on and off the sporting field can look like. We know that God invites athletes to reach their spaces for Him, and with the resources that are made available to athletes at this camp, we believe that they will be equipped to do just that.
